About Us

As a teenager and young adult, I struggled with acne. Over time, I learned that health and beauty starts from within—eating a healthy diet of wholesome natural foods, nourishing one's heart and mind, and using skincare products made from ingredients found in nature. I learned that many of the products we put on our skin, the largest organ in our body, contain harmful chemicals that become absorbed into our cells. I became drawn to natural and organic skin and body care products with nourishing, unrefined ingredients and beautiful, botanical scents. 

When my son was an infant, he had mild eczema. In 2019, I began experimenting with making body products in my kitchen and developed a body butter formulated to treat his dry and inflamed skin. As a new mother, making my own organic skincare products and taking hot baths after my son was in bed became acts of self-care. At the time, I worked in healthcare and sought ways to find rest and retreat at the end of the day. 

Through my travels, I’ve been inspired by the many local botanical wonders and ingredients used across diverse cultures  to care for one's body, hair and skin. I’ve also fallen in love with learning about scent and natural perfumery. Noor Botanicals is inspired by the nourishing gifts and timeless wisdom and beauty embedded in the creation. It is a joy to share this knowledge and experience with you!
